Hi, I'm Lyndsey! I'm an experienced project manager with a background in journalism, having worked in both local and national newsrooms across the country.

I currently work on podcast launches and campaigns at NPR. Before that, I was an assistant editor and audience strategist at NPR Music. In that capacity, I also curated the New Music Friday playlist, co-wrote and co-edited the weekly email newsletter and occasionally appeared on All Songs Considered and Pop Culture Happy Hour. I spent a portion of the 2016 election producing social media at POLITICO; I also previously contributed twice-weekly event listings to DCist.

Before moving to Washington, I worked as social media and promotions editor at the Tampa Bay Times. I graduated from the University of Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with general honors before receiving my Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, where I concentrated in magazine writing and editing.

I currently live in the Tampa Bay area with my husband and our twin toddler boys. I'm passionate about improving systems and workflows, and I’m dedicated to the public media value of celebrating the human experience in its infinite variety. I really, really, really like distance running and cycling.
