Hi, I'm Lyndsey.

I'm a writer, editor and native Floridian. I currently live in Washington, D.C., where I'm an assistant editor, social media strategist and guardian of roséwave at NPR Music. I also contribute calendar listings to DCist and occasionally appear on All Songs Considered and Pop Culture Happy Hour.

Before moving to Washington, I worked as social media editor at the Tampa Bay Times. I spent a portion of the 2016 election producing social media at POLITICO.

I graduated from the University of Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with general honors before receiving my Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, where I concentrated in magazine writing and editing.

I'm interested in audience development and engagement, I'm passionate about project management and community-building and I’m dedicated to public media and music discovery. I also really like running.
